Christmas should be a time of wonder, excitement and treasured memories. But for many of the children and young people supported by Child Action Northwest, Christmas can feel very different.

This year, we’re asking our wonderful community to help make the festive season a little brighter by purchasing a gift from our Christmas Wish List for children in our foster care and residential services.

Behind every item on the list is a child who deserves to feel special, thought about and cared for. Whether it’s a gift a child has wished for, a stocking filler, or a festive treat, your kindness will help create moments of joy and remind them that they are not alone.

For many of the young people we support, it’s not just about the gift itself. It’s about knowing that someone has taken the time to think of them. It’s about feeling valued, remembered and included at a time of year that can be especially difficult.

Together, we can help create happy memories, brighten Christmas morning and show local children and young people that their community cares.

Thank you for helping us make this Christmas one to remember.

How You Can Help

  • Purchase an item from the wish list online or from a local store, arrange drop off at our Head Office in Buckshaw Village or arrange delivery to our below address. If you aren’t dropping it off with Child Action Northwest directly, please make sure your details are left with the present, so we know which wonderful person to thank.
  • Donate to our Moments that Matter Fund. This fund helps us create extra special moments for our children and young people. This includes purchasing Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, days out, holidays, all the extra special moments every child and young person deserves.
