Our Annual Impact Report

CANW’s Annual Impact Report for 2024/25 is now complete and we are delighted to present some of the evidence of our impact of our work on children, young people and adults. It’s been a significant year of transformation and renewal for everyone at CANW, made possible thanks to the hard work of our staff, trustees and volunteers.

Since April 2024, we have:

✴️Presided over 27,000 interventions across our service areas

✴️Supported over 19,000 children and vulnerable adults in the criminal justice system via our

Appropriate Adult service

✴️Seen the development of James Dixon House, a residential home for young people

✴️Supported over 1,470 children and young people through our Emotional Health and Wellbeing partnership with Lancashire County Council

✴️Worked with 11 commissioned schools, and over 260 children on a 1-1 basis

✴️Supported 54 foster care placements

✴️Worked with more than 1,900 parents to improve co-parenting

✴️Supported 31 young people in statutory reparation

✴️Engaged with 61 young people in year two of Break the Cycle, a community-roted early intervention programme

✴️Supported 122 Young Farmers

✴️Received over 770 referrals to support families with sustainable child arrangements

✴️On-boarded and welcomed 91 new employees and workers

✴️Seen 33 parents attending Think Family Sessions

✴️Moved into our new office building in Buckshaw Village.
