James Dixon House, Child Action Northwest’s newly opened residential children’s home, is proud to announce that it has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted just five weeks after welcoming its first young person.

James Dixon House also proudly draws on a rich heritage dating back to Blackburn Orphanage in 1886. The home represents a modern reimagining of residential childcare for the 21st century while paying tribute to the legacy of its founder, James Dixon.
