CANW Welcome New Chief Executive Officer
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tony as the new Chief Executive Officer of Child Action Northwest, marking an exciting new chapter for our organisation.
” CANW have a powerful history and heritage of supporting children and young people to thrive”
Tony brings over 20 years of experience across the charity, community, health and housing sectors. Most recently, he spent nine years at BBC Children in Need, where he led significant programmes supporting children and young people across the UK. His career has been defined by a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and families, building effective partnerships, and driving meaningful, long-term impact.
Throughout the recruitment process, Tony impressed everyone involved – including some of the young people we support – with his values-led approach and clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Reflecting on his appointment, Tony said:
“I’m truly honoured to be joining Child Action Northwest at such an important time. I’m really looking forward to working collaboratively to deepen impact, strengthen partnerships and ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of children, young people and families.”
As Child Action Northwest continues to grow and respond to increasing need, Tony’s leadership will be instrumental in helping us strengthen our services, expand our reach, and ensure we are there for children, young people and families when they need us most.
We’re excited for what’s ahead as Tony leads us into the next chapter, helping even more children and young people to thrive.
Please join us in giving Tony a very warm welcome to Child Action Northwest!
