Foster carers say that managers, supervising social workers and support staff, provide support that ‘helps us to focus on the child’ Ofsted Report 2017
Being a foster carer you will always face challenges but it could also be the most role you have ever undertaken. The children and young people placed with Foster Carers have experienced difficulties in, and possibly throughout, their short lives, which may include neglect; violence or sexual abuse. However, one thing you can be certain of is that each child or young person, no matter how difficult their life has been, deserves to feel safe, stable and secure. As one of our foster carer you will provide that along with the opportunity for the child to develop and thrive in a loving environment.
There is no greater feeling than seeing a child in care discover their full potential. We will be with you every step of the way, providing you with a fantastic support package. Making sure that the child or young person receives the best possible chance at happiness. That’s what makes fostering with CANW so rewarding.
