Child Action Northwest is a leading Children and Families Charity delivering a broad range of services. Alongside our associated Community Interest Company and Trading arm CANWe Solutions, we enable individuals to make positive changes to their lives.  We are looking for individuals who will bring creativity, innovation and proactivity, to secure new channels of funding, strengthen internal process, and build the business development capacity across the organisation. A team player you will help us drive forward our ambition for growth, innovation and excellence across our service portfolio.   You will have strategic vision and the drive and passion to ensure that we always make a positive impact on the communities and with the individuals we support.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will be responsible for the development and implementation of an effective income generation strategy through leading on grant proposals, contract opportunities and identifying fundraising opportunities.  You will take the lead in coordinating bid teams across the Charity and taking forward negotiations for specific services and activities with commissioning bodies, ensuring the completion of high quality, competitive and compliant proposals and tenders.

Reporting to the CEO this critical role will ensure the organisation has a clear business development and growth strategy in place, ensuring excellence, monitoring quality and demonstrating the impact of our service in bringing about positive change.  You will be able to demonstrate positive leadership skills, build relationships at all levels and work to a strong person centred value base.  You will lead an innovative business and partnership development team and provide oversight of CANWe solutions, ensuring we maximise trading opportunities and opportunities for innovative growth.  The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing high quality, successful proposals and commercial tenders demonstrating excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with service teams.
