We assist our foster carers in many ways: offering financial and practical support, activitiesand support programmesfor children, educational support to ensure children can achieve their full potential, provide training that encourages foster carers to develop and to become the best possible carer they can be and the guidance of a clinical psychologist to ensure the emotional, health and wellbeing needs of children and carers are met.
CANW’s fostering service is friendly and often described by staff and carers alike as a fostering family. CANW has a long and well respected history of providing accommodation for vulnerable children spanning more than a century although the fostering service has been running since 2001.
